the harmonious notes of life

On a follow-up to yesterday's rant, Steve admitted that he would be upset if I did the same thing to his machine, and he understands that I view Apollo as mine, since, well, we got it so I would have a Dreamweaver machine (yes, that is the *only* reason we bought the iBook) and that I'll be dragging it back and forth to school if and when I go to Kirkwood this summer. He apologized for being an ass and admitted that he was just being stubborn.

After accidently posting the rant first to Megatokyo, I realized how quick I am to rant and not give follow-ups. Most of my close friends realize that I have a quick temper, but once everything's over, my temper is as well. I go back to the way things normally are.

I again apologize to those who were caught in the cross-fire and completely understand if any of you think that I'm either an idiot or a complete bitch. (Because, technically, I'm both.)

Oh God. As if that wasn't bad enough. Last night, I found this adorable salt and pepper shaker set on clearance and bought them, right? I got home, showed them off to Steve (since i used shopping as an excuse to get away from him) and proceeded to fill them. I was very careful about how I was opening the pepper container, making sure I wasn't going to spill when I started to pour. Turned the shaker upside down and proceeded to fill. .... and watched the pepper flow right out the holes in the shaker and onto to the floor. I was frozen with sheer *shock* that I'd done something so stupid so my friend who was in the kitchen with me just burst into laughter and grabbed a paper-towel to clean up the mess.

Yes, not only did I do that. I did that in front of a -FRIEND- of mine. I swear to God that I wonder if I have a brain sometimes.
