the harmonious notes of life

I've been working at Curves for about a month now, and I must say. It's nice. I really force myself to work out at least 3 times a week. And, what's better than that, I can feel more energy (usually... aside from today) and my clothes are fitting looser. *That* excites me. A lot. Hopefully I won't have to worry about health problems that has plagued my family in the past.

Steve and I went to see Annie at the dinner theater in Rock Island (Circa 21). It was good. The kids in the musical were INCREDIBLE and Circa 21 is always fun. They have bootleggers. They perform. They are *awesome*. And I had pumpkin moose cheesecake (which is why I was so active at work this morning. Gah. I don't think I worked all of it off yet.) and the best white zin I've ever had in my life. It was a nice time. And music. Wonderful, beautiful music.

I wish we could've made it to the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert last Wednesday, but .. I'll live, I suppose. I'm sure something ... similar will come along again soon. And, if not, hopefully we'll be moving to Portland, Oregon soon enough and I'm sure I'll have PLENTY of opportunities to see very quality orchestral concerts out there. =) But, until then, I pine.
